PILGRIM ROUTES TRAVEL INC. offers group tours to Israel, Jordan and Turkey. The predominant destination is Israel. The tours have religious, spiritual and historical themes, and are targeted to travellers with these interests.

The work of Pilgrim Routes Travel Inc. co-ordinates the services of a number of licensed tour agencies (Guiding Star Ltd. of Jerusalem provides the Land Package and manages all logistical details of the excursion in Israel, as well as providing a licensed Guide for the full period of the tour, Uniglobe Beacon Travel Ltd. of Calgary provides group-flight arrangements, travel insurance and collects the funds for these services.) Pilgrim Routes Travel Inc. markets the program, manages registration, and collects and disburses funds related to the Land Package. On the trip the group is led by a licensed Guide from the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. Richard LeSueur's role is that of tour host and on-site instructor.

Tours consist of 16 or more consecutive days of sightseeing in the selected region. Excursions to museums, churches and sites of sacred and historical significance takes place with travel between centres of interest using ground transportation arranged by local tour operators. Tour participants stay together in 3-5 star hotel accommodation for the duration of the tour. The Land Package tour price includes hotels, all meals, transportation on air conditioned bus, professional Guides, entrance fees, luggage handling at hotels, tips and gratuities, border taxes and guest lecturers. The price does not include beverages. Pilgrim Routes Travel Inc. was founded by Richard LeSueur, B.A., M.Div., D.Min. in 2007 as a means of legitimizing a ministry he has been offering in the church since 1983. Since 1983 he has facilitated over 40 groups of clergy and laity on excursions through the biblical lands of Israel, Sinai, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Greece. In the 1990’s The Rev. Dr. Richard LeSueur lived in Jerusalem and served on the teaching staff of St George’s College, Jerusalem. He brings that first-hand experience uniquely to these trips.

This business venture is an outgrowth of nearly 30 years of successful experience leading travel-study programs. Tour participants come from diverse backgrounds and are of various age groups. Both his in-depth experience and familiarity with these fascinating regions combine to attract participants to these enriching tours.
